WHAT IN THE HELL IS THIS???
* [austin swim] is a "Truly Austin" multimedia event that features giant projection screens, live music, all kinds of performers (from comedy to burlesque to magic to artists painting in real time -- and more). We also play animation and other funny video stuff.

* In Summer months we have a swimming pool so you can drink and pee simultaneously (but nobody had better do that - EVER).

I WANT TO DO THIS IN MY BACKYARD and/or FOR MY BRIS! WHERE CAN I GET A BIG-ASS SCREEN LIKE THAT?
* You can have Austin Swim in your back yard with all the entertainment we offer, or you can just rent the screens and projectors for your own private screenings - email us to book your party!

WHO COMES TO THIS THING?
* [austin swim] is open to the public and "big kids" of any age. It's mostly people who like to laugh and it's an awesome place to hang out with intelligent people with a sense of humor!

ARE YOU AFFILLIATED WITH THE TV NETWORK?
* No. Not in any way. We tried it for one drunken weekend and decided "we don't like them like that". We also do not rely on their excellent high-quality programming for our events. Austin Swim is more about the performers and the audience than about what's on the screen. We also do movie nights as well. So we recomend that you watch the TV network whenever you can, but come to Austin Swim when you're ready for some company.

WHO IS SMART AND COOL ENOUGH TO DO SUCH A THING???
* [austin swim] is the brainchild of Austin musician/filmmaker Troy Dillinger . He's had to defend the event before so don't try to steal the idea. He will crush you like bear.
